You would like to really learn the basics of mountain biking, or you want to try the flowtrail for the first time? Sölle Bike offers several courses with great tips and practical basics.
MTB Basics "Learn & Ride" in Tröpolach

Learn to handle your mountainbike like a pro!
We start with technique training on the "Pumptrack". Afterwards we practice the newly learned skills on a tour in the nearby forest.
Our bike guides will teach you the important basics like:

Minimum 16 years old, minimum 150 cm tall! General biking skills, basic knowledge of mountain biking and a good physical condition are essential for this course. Some passages on the Flowtrail are very steep and not without danger! Come with sturdy shoes, bike gloves and adequate clothing. Own lift ticket required.
Start to feel the flow!
We start practicing coordination and balance on the "Pumptrack". If all course participants show enough biking skills, we take the gondola up to the start of the Flowtrail. With usefull tipps from our guides, you can start „surfing“ these lines with more ease and flow ! If the group doesn't have enough bike skills, we will practice on the nearby enduro forest trail.
Singletrail courses Nassfeld
Learn the basic downhill skills and technique to ride easier, faster and more safely!
You feel pretty fit on your mountain bike and have already tackled several longer MTB tours. But you kind of loose your balance and feel uncertain when handling narrow trails, roots, small drops and steep turns?
Course contents:
- bike setup
- technicalities of the freeride bike
- body position, balance & stability
- optimal brake handling
- turning technique & steep terrain
We offer 3 different singletrail courses: Adults, „Kids only“ and families. During all these course, the rental of the freeride bike, helmet and protective gear are included for the duration of the course.
The Meeting point is always at the Sport Sölle shop at Sonnenalpe Nassfeld (next to the supermarket and the base station of the Madritschen chairlift.
Prerequisites: Own lift ticket required! Basic knowledge of mountainbiking. Sturdy shoes and suitable bike clothing.

The first part of the course (Bike Setup, Balance, Braking, etc…) takes about 1 hour. Afterwards we tackle several singletrail lines. With the help of your guide and the improved confidence, we finisch the course with one of the longest and more challenging singletrail lines.
With the help of your guide and growing confidence, single-trail biking at Nassfeld will become your ultimate downhill experience.

Shred the trails together!
The right course for the whole family! Kids that are minimum 130 cm tall can already get a great freeride bikel and join this course with at least one parent.

This course is designed specifically for children and adolescents! Age-appropriate material and exercise trails are carefully selected. While the kids do their rounds with our trained guides, the parents can relax in a sun lounger, or go for a nice bike or hiking tour themselves.
Guided moutainbike tours at Nassfeld
There are so many trails to explore and discover in the wild border area of Austria and Italy. To get to the most beautiful places you also have to push your bike at times and often the markings are missing. That is why we recommend to book a personal guide from Sölle Sport. Our guides know the area very well and will get you to those secret paths too.

Also possible with E-Mountainbike!
Depending on the chosen destination, about 300 to 400 vertical meters have to be mastered, which are easy to do for slightly advanced bikers with a hardtail MTB. For less experienced bikers, participating with an E-MTB is recommended. In an alpine hut we taste delicious locally produced bacon and alpine cheese (drinks not included). The entire tour is guided by our professionally trained bike guide.
The difficulty level will be adapted to the biking skills of the participants.
Tour proposal: „3 mountain huts“-tour, over the Winkelalm to the Tressdorfer Alm and return via Rossalm, about 350 Asc.
